In only 65 seconds, anything from mud and cement sacks to dope buckets and 55 gallon drums is reduced eight times its size to become part of the compacted waste. It’s safe and it’s easy to operate. Quite simply, it’s a trash compactor that does a better job for a much better price than anything else available.
Performance Data:
How it works: The Vulture operates on compressed air over hydraulics, or electric over hydraulics. Machine overloads are nonexistent. By simply hooking up a one inch air hose or an electrical connection the Vulture is primed and ready. Dimensions: The Vulture provides a substantial saving in deck space, requiring only 44 square feet. When empty, the Vulture weighs 4,725 lbs. The skid base is 5’4” wide, 8’10” long and 8’9” high. A ram load of 30 to 35 psi produces 40,000 lbs. of compacting force thereby reducing the waste into a 30 cubic ft. bundle. Waste Container: The waste is compacted into interwoven plastic bags which are tested to 12,500 lbs. and are rated to have a working load of 2,500 lbs. thus offering a 5:1 safety factor. They are tough, replaceable and economically priced, and because they are disposable, storage space and spare containers are eliminated. Loading and Unloading: The Vulture’s bag container is hinged for easy removal. The bag is sealed by a duffle type closure with a durable tie string attached. Webbed lifting belts, each with 1,000 kgs capacity, actually strengthen the disposable bag for the trip ashore. Not only is the compactor bag easy to remove, it’s also much safer and less awkward to handle than heavy metal containers. Supplied Complete with:
